Empowering more SEEDS Innovations through Sustainable Trade – Ignite!
Parts of the results of the commercial initiatives and sustainopreneurial ventures the founder, Anders Abrahamsson, is a part of, especially the intended Ignition Communication AB (in becoming, as a spin-off to the incubator venture On a Mission Sweden) will fuel the funds with financial means. This is co-founded by Anders Abrahamsson as well, and intends to give further power, move, energy and resources to the sustainopreneurial movement at large. The business idea is to provide merchandise and sustainable cotton clothes from India to organizations and businesses that want to profile and communicate themselves as sustainable through printed clothing. The greater part of the financial annual surplus intends to fund sustainability innovation financing, i. e. creating a fund for empowering disruptive and radical innovations to create a sustainable world, where the focus of the intended future investment means (with a term coined Sustainability Venture Capital) uses the SEEDS framework as a main strategy.
Generating knowledge for wise investment strategies further - ÆREAS
The other critical mass of resources needed is a systematic research effort towards deepened understanding of Sustainopreneurship, and this will be contributed by the research venture Association for Enactive Research, Education and Application of Sustainopreneurship, ÆREAS. An interim association, with intended constitution next year, 2009, is found through http://aereas.nu. Next publication is a book chapter to be published in an Indian anthology. The topic of this paper points directly towards a manifestation of the SEEDS framework, suggesting more systematic efforts and a taxonomy to be built up related to sustainability innovations.
